Is it possible to visit Belgrade during a 6 hour stopover at the airport between connecting flights?

3 Comments 27 July 2010

I’m flying in to Belgrade airport on Saturday, arriving around 10am – and then my onward connecting flight is not until 5pm. Is it possible to reach Belgrade city center easily from the airport? Are there some nice things to do in Belgrade city center if you have just a few hours there? I would like to see nice buildings, historic sites, perhaps a nice restaurant – but don’t want anything too active, and would not want to spend a fortune!

How much should a taxi cost between Ben Gurion airpot and the Allenby/King Hussain Bridge on a Sat morning?

2 Comments 25 July 2010

We will be landing in Ben Gurion airport at 5:30 am. We could get two sherut’s (one from ben gurion airport to damascus gate and another from damascus gate to the border) but it’s a bad flight and am wondering if we could get a taxi straight there for a ‘reasonable’ cost.

Thanks :)
