Why Meet and Greet Parking at Stansted Airport is the Best Thing Since Sliced Bread

No Comments 14 September 2010

Hooters Parking commenced trading in July 2006, and has been offering superior valet meet and greet airport parking services ever since. With now literally 1000s of satisfied airport parking customers We asked if the management had ever been involved in other types of parking before Hooters? They said – No, Hooters was a brand new venture. So we asked why did you choose to provide valet meet and greet parking as your service, what motivated you? They said at Hooters we decided to provide a valet meet and greet service because I believe that we now live very busy lives and meet and greet airport parking is the future. Valet meet and greet takes the stress out of airport parking. No fuss No transfer bus! Using a valet parking service will most likely mean that you never want to use a park & ride again . I wanted to provide supply a top end airport parking service at a price affordable to all.

So we asked – Why did you decide to set up your company in the first place? They said – I had used a Meet and Greet service at Gatwick on a number of occasions. When travelling from Stansted I was unable to find a reliable valet airport parking service. With knowledge of the planned expansion of Stansted Airport there was a profitable business opportunity available. I had worked in the City for a Swiss Bank for 20 years and I decided time was right to try my hand at something new, I also knew that many customers were searching for something more than the airport park and ride service. We asked if Hooters Parking had always been a valet meet and greet airport parking service ?They said Yes Hooters really wants to be know for a great level of customer service and at the same time we dont want to be distracted from what we do well that is valet parking

We then asked Hooters about their unique selling point and why their valet parking service should chosen above any other parking operators at Stansted Airport ?They said At Hooters Airport Parking, we believe that we provide the Ultimate Valet Parking Experience. We are able to provide that extra special personal attention because we are small independent family run airport parking business,. We are always courteous, reliable and are flexible to accommodate our customers needs. We are happy to provide photographic evidence of our secure compound to reassure customers that we do not park in undesirable areas or even a field as we know some customers do. It is also important to remember that we have local authority permission.

We then asked the guys at Hooters airport parking – what are your main aims as a Meet and Greet airport parking business? They simply said – To provide a luxury airport meet and greet valet parking service that is still affordable to all.

We pressed Hooters and asked how can customers define why they should use your airport parking service ahead of any other ?Hooters said – No bus transfers enables you to save time when arriving / departing from the airport. If you are caught in heavy traffic on your way to the airport using our airport parking service could mean you will not miss your flight. Our valet parking service is especially good for families who are travelling with children. On your return your vehicle is brought to you with the heaters or air con already on, so all you have to do is drive to your destination. All in all it looks as though Hooters airport parking valet meet and greet service is a well run family business focused on customer satisfaction. We like to think that they are a valuable addition to the Stansted airport information web site, and that their valet airport parking service is certainly worth a try.

Sean McCarthy is keen traveller and web site publisher. The popularity of Stansted Airport Meet and Greet Parking is increasing all the time but the difficulty is finding relaible, secure friendly companies you know will look after your car. Hence this article.

Manchester Airport Parking How It All Began With Males Garage

No Comments 13 August 2010

Males Garage was the first Manchester Airport Parking Company at Manchester Airport but what follows is the story of how Manchester Airport Parking was born and how it has evolved over the years. From the cinder area of yester year to the huge industry it is today.
1953 and 1954 were massive years for Manchester Airport as they started to operate cutting edge aircraft such as the Convair liners and flying out to more European destinations. Long haul aircraft such as the DC-6 started to turn up in ever increasing numbers as air traffic increased at Manchester Airport.
Manchester Airports terminals by 1954 were expanding at a phenomenal rate as passenger figures reached approximately two hundred and fifty thousand. Three months after officially changing its name to Manchester Airport they reached their one-millionth passenger who incidentally travelled to the glamorous destination of the Isle of Man.
All this growth at Manchester Airport saw an increase in motor traffic and an opening for the first Manchester Airport car park. One young person was about to fill this gap. Jack Males the owner of Males Garage, an ex serviceman who had recently returned home to Wythenshawe opened up a small tractor repair company a short distance away from Manchester Airport not knowing the opportunity that was about to come his way.
As well as the rapid growth of Manchester Airport Males Tractor Services also expanded and branched out into plant hire and construction work. During this expansion of both businesses people would travel from Manchester Airport and at the time the car parking at Manchester Airport consisted of nothing more than a small cinder area close to the terminal with the capacity for only fifty cars. Upon their return travellers would have problems starting their vehicles so naturally went looking for help at the nearest place possible. Luckily for Jack Males and Males Garage they were the closest, so benefited from this extra trade by starting vehicles and providing small repairs.
This simple act of help would revolutionise the Manchester Airport Parking industry, as we know it today. Males Garage car storage was born, offering a secure alternative to the standard cinder path that was previously used, as well as still offering the convenience of being close to the airport. Over the years Males Garage went from strength to strength and for fifty-three years have been at the top of the parking food chain offering excellent customer service resulting in many customers returning year after year.
It was inevitable that during those fifty three years Males Garage could not possibly continue to be the only off airport Manchester Airport Parking provider and other companies started to spring up to keep up with the growth of Manchester Airport and its ever increasing passenger list. Despite this ever increasing growth in off airport parking companies Males Garage continued to operate and saw so many smaller companies come and go.
In 2007 a minimum of twenty two million people passed through Manchester Airport with still more to come. Manchester Airport decided they wanted the land where Males Garage stood and after fifty-three years of trading made Jack Males of Males garage an offer he could not refuse. I am sure all of the other Manchester Airport Parking companies in the area who have grown businesses as a result of Jacks insight all them years ago would like to say a huge thank you to Jack for the birth of Manchester Airport Parking as we know it today.
